Don't miss this opportunity to work with this top indie film and TV casting director whose work has screened at numerous festivals including the Austin Film Festival, SXSW, Tribeca, and Slamdance. 

Recent projects include STORMCHASER, Winner of AMC Networks and Stareable Fest's Web Series and Indie TV Prize, and FEELING THROUGH which was nominated for Best Live Action Short at the 2021 Academy Awards.

Currently, Jennifer is casting Michael Aloyan's next film CARNIVORE.

The event will start off with an informative virtual Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

She's interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities (18+) for current and future projects.

What to Prepare:

For this intensive, please prepare a scene of choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene. 
Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

  • Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Jennifer Peralta-Ajemian

Jennifer Peralta-Ajemian (Owner/Casting Director, JPA Casting) has been a casting professional since 2005 and trained with veteran casting directors Avy Kaufman, Bernard Telsey, Cindy Tolan, and Liz Lewis. In 2014, she opened JPA casting to help amplify historically untapped voices. Her work has been recognized by AMPAS, SXSW, Austin Film Festival, Tribeca, The NYTimes, and the "Ellen" and "Today" shows. She is currently working on four feature films.
