New! Online On-Camera COMMERCIAL Intensive with Ashley-Lauren Elrod, Casting Director, Visionary Woman Productions
Saturday, June 12, 2021, 2pm ET / 11am PT
This event is in the past.
With over 10 years experience in the business, Ashley has worked both as talent agent and as a casting director casting for TV, feature films, commercials and print.
In this new virtual on-camera commercial intensive, Ashley will create a safe space for students to learn about the world of on-camera commercials. She'll start off with commercial 101 basics from the process, timing, breakdown of the copy, to finding key moments in the copy.
From there, you'll get into the work via some exercises that she will guide you through.
You'll learn how to quickly bring roles to life under time constraints, through nuances that catch the attention of both casting and creatives, playing with certain words, and dressing right for the part.
Ashley will also cover full Audition Prep 101 for what she's looking for from head to toe to visualize the actor in that role as soon as they walk into the room.
She'll then guide you through mock auditions with feedback.
The intensive will end with a Q&A with Ashley to cover any remaining questions.
