Advanced 3-Week Online TV Audition Technique with JAMES CALLERI C.S.A., Calleri Jensen Davis

Monday, June 7, 2021, 6:30pm ET / 3:30pm PT

This event is in the past.

Here's your chance to work with this TOP NY Casting Director in the class that everyone RAVES about!

James recently cast season 1 and 2 of DICKINSON on Apple TV+ and THE PATH on Hulu.

You got that BIG audition! Congrats... but are you ready? You don't have the full script and aren't quite sure how your character fits into the story line. So what choices do you make? Or what's important in the scene once you've gotten the script?

This 3-week ADVANCED online class will turbo charge your audition interpretation skills and bring you to the next level propelling you on your way to booking more jobs!

These three weeks will be devoted to half-hour and one-hour television where James will coach and critique your work, tweak your material and share invaluable information. James will give you sides each week to prepare for work in the following week. Duplicating an actual audition scenario where "like" actors are up for the same role, he will distribute the same sides to several actors at a time. You'll FINALLY have the opportunity to see these "auditions" from a CD's viewpoint including what "pops", how to be memorable yet not over the top, major do's and don'ts, and why someone might get a callback when others won't.

For weeks one and two, you will pick two sides from the comedic and dramatic "costar" sides James has provided. For your final class, James will assign you a "guest star"/"recurring" scene based off of your headshot and resume that will be sent to you in advance.

PLEASE NOTE: As requested by James, you must be available to attend ALL THREE CLASSES consecutively. Punctuality is important to him and you must arrive 10-15 minutes early. No make-ups, or late admittances are permitted.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE LATE TO CLASS YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN and Actors Connection will NOT credit you.
