Online TV/FILM INTENSIVE with FREYA KRASNOW, Casting Associate, Bowling/Miscia Casting

From one of NY's busiest TV casting offices, Freya's projects include the upcoming crime drama DR DEATH starring Alec Baldwin & Christian Slater set to air on Peacock.

Her past projects include ABC's QUANTICO, TERMINATOR SALVATION, and THE HANGOVER PART 2.

For this virtual intensive, you'll be assigned sides by Freya in advance. You'll start off with a Q&A, then Freya will be working on-camera using the pre-read format with a reader in a group. Be prepared for feedback and to take re-adjustments on the fly. 

What to Prepare:

Based on your HS/resume, Freya will select sides for you which will be emailed to you to prepare in advance. 

PLEASE NOTE: Once scenes have been distributed, if you late cancel you will not be replaced!

Please upload your headshot and resume to your online account upon registration. 


Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

  • Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Freya Krasnow

Freya is a Casting Director working in NYC.

She’s worked on DR DEATH S1 & S2 (Peacock), KATY KEENE (CW), ALMOST FAMILY (FOX) and  HAPPY (Scyfy). She has also cast the interactive video games 12 MINUTES and TELLING LIES for Annapurna and most recently IMMORTALITY.

She has been nominated for an Artios Award for her casting in the short film SEE YOU SOON.

Previously, while living in Los Angeles she worked on many films including RUBY SPARKS, WHIP IT, ENDLESS LOVE, TERMINATOR  SALVATION, and HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU.
