Online FILM/TV INTENSIVE with Michael D'Amato, Associate Casting Director, Billy Hopkins Casting

Don't miss out on this ONE NIGHT ONLY intensive with Michael D'Amato from one of NY's top film/TV casting offices.
Recent credits include: FOX's EMPIRE, the Emmy Award Winning Limited Series WHEN THEY SEE US directed by Ava DuVernay, P-VALLEY for STARZ and THE UNITED STATES vs. BILLIE HOLIDAY starring Andra Day directed by Lee Daniels.
Michael will select sides based on your HS/resume submission which you will be emailed and prepare 1-2 days in advance. You'll start off with a Q&A, then Michael will be working on-camera using the pre-read format with a reader in a group. Be prepared for feedback and to take re-adjustments on the fly.
What to Prepare:
For this virtual intensive, Michael will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account.
Assignments will be emailed 1-2 days in advance.
Please follow the procedures listed below:

Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Michael D'Amato
Michael D'Amato is an Associate Casting Director at Billy Hopkins Casting. He is currently working on season 2 of a popular series for the STARZ network as well as multiple independent films. His most recent work includes season 1 of POWER BOOK II: GHOST and the Oscar Nominated film THE UNITED STATES VS. BILLIE HOLIDAY, directed by Lee Daniels.
