Michael is an owner/agent at HCKR Agency - one of New York's premiere boutique agencies representing talent for film, TV and theater.

He's working with a number of actors he has met at Actors Connection and is currently interested in meeting all types, all ethnicities (18+).

After a virtual Q&A he'll see Songs or Monologues ONE on ONE
**Please note that an accompanist will not be provided. All actors will need to provide their own music for this session.**
 

What to Prepare:

For this seminar, please prepare a song OR a monologue for your one on one session.

  • Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

  • Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Michael Kirsten

Michael Kirsten is an owner/agent at HCKR Agency.  He has been an agent at the company for 25 years, and 5 years ago became a partner in the company, as well. 

Recent Film and TV:  Ozark, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Godfather of Harlem, New Amsterdam, Chicago PD/Fire/Med, Manifest, FBI and Most Wanted, SVU, The United States vs Billie Holiday, and many other projects.    

He has actors working on Broadway and Tours (when not in the pandemic): Hamilton, Six, Mean Girls, Girl From the North Country, To Kill a Mockingbird, Dear Evan Hansen, and more. 

His clients have worked at many of the best regional theaters in the country, including The Guthrie, Arena Stage, Yale Rep, Paper Mill Playhouse.
