As you know, commercials can be one of the most lucrative jobs in the business providing actors with steady residual income or handsome buyouts.
Many of our AC actors have asked "where do I begin?", so we've brought in the expert- top commercial casting director Angela Mickey, who has been casting commercials daily for over 20 years.
This intensive is designed for the actor looking to expand their arsenal of talent, develop a new skill set and provide a solid beginning in a new medium.
This intensive will cover:
-the business of commercials,
-getting comfortable on-camera,
-basic camera technique and approaches to copy

Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Angela Mickey
She enjoys working with veteran and up-and-coming creatives, helping to provide an individual plan to each casting process, as well as assistance with union regulations and talent payment guidelines. Angela has worked on hundreds of on camera commercial and voice over projects, as well as helped form the real people division.
Her recent theatrical projects include the Filipino movie musical The Girl Who Left Home, A Year and Change, ReRUN, AppleTV+ Get Rolling With Otis, Hallmark’s One Royal Holiday, Lifetime's The Holiday Fix Up, and Stalker’s Prey III: A Predator Returns.
Always looking for the new, undiscovered talent, Angela can be found conducting audition classes with actors nationwide. Winner of the 2019 Heller Award for Best Northeast Commercial and VO Casting.
