New! 2 Week ADVANCED Online VOICE OVER Class with Matt Ambrosia, Voice Over Agent, KMR

In this two week advanced online class, Matt will give you the tools you need to connect and make firm committed choices to BOOK more voice-over jobs! You'll work on a variety of V/O commercial copy. Please bring in a variety of 30 second copy that you'd like to work on in class.

Matt will review what needs to be improved, as well as the positive traits that would help you fit into this exciting market!

What to Prepare:

Please update your headshot and resume as needed on your online profile upon registration. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Matt Ambrosia

Matt Ambrosia did not speak until he was 3 and a half. Despite everyone encouraging his parents to get him checked out, they knew he was just biding his time until he had something meaningful to say. So there is some irony in the fact that Matt has made a career out of slinging voices.

Brooklyn born, Jersey raised, Wake Forest University educated, Matt Ambrosia interned at 18 years old in the Commercial department of Don Buchwald and Associates. After college he returned to work as an assistant in the Voiceover department for 2 years before being hired in 2003 by Paradigm to be an agent. During his 17 years at Paradigm he helped expand the Promo/Narration division, booked people on multiple Presidential campaign ads, and has helped start a number of very successful VO careers. He is excited to continue this work at KMR with the rest of the team.

When not booking voiceover Matt can generally be found writing mostly formulaic bios for his company’s website that he hopes convey some credibility with a little bit of meta humor.
