Here's your chance to meet this first time guest and up-and-coming casting director for film and theater. Sherette is currently casting the independent feature Popous Pane, due to go into production early 2021.

What to Prepare:

For this seminar, bring in a scene of choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene. 

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Sherette Gregg

With ten years of independent casting experience in the film and theater industry, Sherette Gregg began her artistic career as an actor in local theater productions in NYC. However after a college buddy of hers needed casting assistance with his short film, what would ultimately become the HBO short Popous Pane and The Kids He Loves To Hate, Sherette took on the Casting Director role and her love of the craft of casting was born. In that moment she knew she found her thing.

Sherette has been the casting director for the following short films and theater productions: HBO's Popous Pane and The Kids He Loves To Hate, Mariposa, Sydney and Blue Fire on The Water. Sherette is currently casting the independent feature Popous Pane, due to go into production early 2021.
