One line auditions AREN'T EASY!  How do you stand apart from the crowd with just a few words?  How can you create unique audition choices they are grounded and interesting within a single sentence?

Even though you probably won't have a difficult time memorizing just 1 line, (or will you when you factor in nerves?) you still have to learn how to turn just one little line into an entire audition.

Lori was casting a big feature film and brought these girls in to be the secretary of the sleazy lawyer. Their ONE LINE was, "He will see you now." Can't be THAT hard, can it? Oh yes it can.

She had 6 actresses audition for this. Clearly one actress was the best. After she did her audition and booked the role, the director determined that the Secretary should be EVERYWHERE her sleazy boss should be. Her Boss? Bill Murry. The Movie? WILD THINGS! She worked? 4 weeks! All from a ONE LINE audition!

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Lori S. Wyman, M.S., C.S.A. is dedicated to helping actors pursue their passions so they can live their dreams.

Casting for over 3 decades, she's been the Florida Casting Director on Bloodline, Ballers, Burn Notice, The Glades, Magic City, Pain & Gain, Iron Man 3, Dolphin Tale, Dolphin Tale 2 and too many more to list. Her most recent project is "The Right Stuff" for Nat Geo.

She went back to school as a successful Casting Director and completed her Master's Degree with a concentration in Drama Therapy. She tackled this in order to help actors overcome Audition Anxiety as she sees this as one of the major obstacles facing actors during their castings.
