Our online Voice Over Masterclass will give you all the tools you need to connect and make firm committed choices to BOOK more V/O jobs! You'll work on a variety of V/O commercial copy that each guest will be bringing in as well as some specific areas that each guest will tailor for their classes.

Our scheduled V/O guests for the 6 weeks include:

Angela Mickey, CD/Managing Director, Liz Lewis Casting - Week 1 and 2

Lisa Fischoff, Casting Director, Broadcasters - Week 3 and 4 

Doreen Frumkin, Casting Director, Doreen Frumkin Casting - Week 5 and 6

Not for the beginner, this class is for the experienced V/O actor who is auditioning but not booking, or even successful actors who simply want to improve their booking rate.

Limited to 12 Experienced Voice Over Actors.

What to Prepare:

For your 1st class, Angela requests that you bring in a prepared 15-30 second commercial VO copy to work on.


Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

  • Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Angela Mickey

Angela Mickey is the most long-term member of the LLCP family. As Managing Director of Casting, Angela works across the board on commercial, voice over, film, TV and theater projects, supporting and guiding our staff to dig deeper and find fresh talent.

She enjoys working with veteran and up-and-coming creatives, helping to provide an individual plan to each casting process, as well as assistance with union regulations and talent payment guidelines. Angela has worked on hundreds of on camera commercial and voice over projects, as well as helped form the real people division.   

Her recent theatrical projects include the Filipino movie musical The Girl Who Left HomeA Year and Change, ReRUN, AppleTV+ Get Rolling With Otis, Hallmark’s One Royal Holiday, Lifetime's The Holiday Fix Up, and Stalker’s Prey III: A Predator Returns.

Always looking for the new, undiscovered talent, Angela can be found conducting audition classes with actors nationwide. Winner of the 2019 Heller Award for Best Northeast Commercial and VO Casting.

Doreen Frumkin

Doreen Frumkin casts commercials, voiceovers, film and television. Her clients span top advertising and production companies, and cover a wide array of talent types, both union and non union.  The diversity of projects keeps her in constant touch with the evolving New York talent pool, and enables her to find creative choices for every job we collaborate on.

Doreen spent several years casting in-house at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, before venturing out to establish Doreen Frumkin Casting in 1998. Doreen provides personal attention to every aspect of every job we work on.  Her knowledge and passion for casting leaves each client confident they have found the perfect talent to fit their project.

Lisa Fischoff

Lisa Fischoff is co-founder and co-owner of one of the busiest voice over casting offices in NYC, Broadcasters LLC.  She began her commercial casting career at Liz Lewis Casting Partners in the late 90’s.  After several years as a casting director at LLCP, she left in 2005 with another alum of LLCP, Stacy Seidel Tea to open Broadcasters.  20 years later they have garnered a reputation for being one of the best casting offices to audition for in NYC.

Lisa casts for on camera commercials, hosts, print and industrial projects.  She has tremendous knowledge with regard to commercial talent here in NYC and loves meeting new talent.

Broadcasters is always looking for new talent in both the Union and Non Union pool of actors in New York and Los Angeles.  They also cast foreign language voice over projects in every language imaginable and utilize Actors Access and Breakdown Express often to find these rare and very specific talent.

Lisa and the Broadcasters team have embraced the remote casting process seamlessly.  It has afforded them the opportunity to meet new VO talent from all over the country for projects that are booking from home studios.  This enhances Lisa and Broadcasters’ ability to meet and stay connected with new talent.

In addition, Lisa heads the hosting department at Broadcasters.  She has cast for such clients as People.com, QVC, Sports Illustrated.com, Disney, Giorgio Armani, and Newtons just to name a few. 

Lisa Fischoff is asked to speak/meet new talent by several commercial acting schools around the country for both on camera and voice over instruction/advice.  She runs an intensive on voice over instruction and works with talent looking to find out more about the voice over process.  She has been teaching and coaching for over 20 years helping those who need guidance with the voice over process, current trends, and technical instruction.
