AC is pleased to welcome LA BASED CHADWICK STRUCK to our online educator team!
 
For this event, Chadwick will give you a self-tape assignment that will be emailed to you 4-6 days prior to this event. Be sure that your AC profile is up to date with your recent headshot and resume so Chadwick can select appropriate material for you.  
 
In this class Chadwick will focus on the following format:
  • For this online intensive, Chadwick will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account.
  • Please title your self-tapes in the following format: "CHADWICK CLASS_FIRST NAME_LAST NAME"
  • On the class time, Chad will begin sharing a bit about his background and then open up the floor to a brief Q&A
  • The class will watch the submitted self tapes one by one as a group
  • Chad will give immediate feedback on the performances and adjustments on how to improve the performance
  • He may ask you to tackle some acting notes live on zoom and give additional feedback on your second performance
In this intensive you can expect to learn:
  • About the LA market and how to deliver a competitive performance there
  • About impactful choices and how to bring them to a performance
  • About self-tape standards and how to be sure you are submitting professional quality

Chadwick Struck

Casting director and producer CHADWICK STRUCK is starting his 29th year in the entertainment business.  He has cast feature films, series content, theater, Jameson First Shot Short Films (6 Year Project), digital content, commercials, PSAs and has 25 producing credits. 

In 1997, Chad started his career working for prominent Casting Director(s) on Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and a few Star Trek video games which led to working on Star Trek: Enterprise.  He proudly worked at the largest Theater on the West Coast, the Center Theatre Group of Los Angeles. This theater comprises the Mark Taper Forum, and the Ahmanson Theater. Here he worked with Directors Neil Simon, and Shakespearean legend, Sir Peter Hall.  He spent the next seven years working in casting for television.

In 2004, Chad began working with a prominent feature film casting director helping cast projects like: Herbie: Fully Loaded starring Lindsay Lohan and Michael Keaton, Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds, and Chaos Theory starring Ryan Reynolds.

With EIGHT films in production, his recent film credits include LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON starring Dermot Mulroney and Vivica A. Fox, RUNNING ON EMPTY starring Jim Gaffigan, MOB LAND starring John Travolta, THE GETBACK, ONE RANGER starring Thomas Jane and John Malkovich, OUTLAWS AND ANGELS, ARCTIC and THE HEARTBREAK KID starring Ben Stiller.
