Interested in the world of Voice Overs but not sure how to give a good read? Here's a great way to start learning about the process!
In this online intensive, Sound Lounge's Alexa Magnotto will cover everything from knowing what to do in a VO audition to how to dissect VO Copy to give the best read possible. She'll give you specific feedback on your performance.
Alexa will select copy for you and will review how to interpret the copy, how to give the best possible take, as well as the positive traits that would help you fit into this exciting market!

Alexa Magnotto
Alexa Magnotto is the Casting Director at Harbor Picture Company, where she has spent the past three years developing and leading the studio’s voiceover casting department.
With a strong background in the commercial space, Alexa has collaborated on dozens of major campaigns, most recently casting for the newest installment of Drake and Dana (the new Dawn Ducks), as well as national spots for Oreo, Benefiber, Walmart, and Toyota.
Prior to Harbor, Alexa worked in the commercial voiceover department at Sound Lounge and gained a unique perspective on the talent side of the business from her early experience at Innovative Artists. Her approach to casting emphasizes collaboration, precision, and helping actors unlock the full range of a script through clear, compelling delivery.
Alexa is also a committed advocate for voice talent in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and synthetic media. She is passionate about championing fair practices and guiding talent through the new challenges and opportunities these technologies present.
