This event is in the past.
With constant rave reviews from our AC actors, here's your opportunity to get to work with one of the partners from McCorkle Casting - one of the top NY casting offices for Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theater as well as film and TV.
Jeffrey, who works with his wife and casting partner, Pat McCorkle, have cast together for over 100 Broadway and Off-Broadway shows as well as numerous Regional Theatre seasons including: Guthrie Theatre, Barrington Stage Company, Baltimore Center Stage, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Contemporary American Theatre Festival, George Street Theatre, St. Louis Repertory Theatre, Theatreworks Hartford, and Connecticut Repertory Theatre.
Our new 4 week Theatre Masterclass is for the Advanced Theatre Actor. Over the 4 week course, Jeffrey will help you find the right material as well as prep you for a "mock" callback. Each class will build onto the next with Jeffery working with you each step of the way.
Class 1: Monologues (Bring in a prepared monologue of choice)
Class 2: Scene with reader (Bring in your own prepared theatre scene)
Class 3: Jeff will assign a scene based off of your work in the previous classes and works on the scenes with a reader
Class 4: "Callback": (Students are paired with each other for final callback with the scene)
You'll leave this class with confidence and a new understanding of how to get more callbacks and more book roles in theater.
Jeffrey is always interested in meeting new talent - all types - all ethnicities -all ages (18+).
