Wednesday, September 11, 2019, 6:30pm
This event is in the past.
In this 4 Week on-camera class, you'll work with with Maria (former Casting Coordinator at Fox) on fine tuning your on-camera technique for television series and pilots. As a sought after acting coach and guest lecturer at undergrad and MFA programs across the country, Maria now brings her unique point of view to this 4 Week Class!
For all four classes, you'll be working on camera with extensive feedback. The 1st week, you will start off with a Q&A. Next, Maria will have a "mock" general meeting with each actor at which time you will showcase a scene of choice to assist Maria in selecting appropriate material directly for you. Throughout the course, Maria will be giving you all of the behind-the-scenes info on what you can do in the room to feel confident about your on-camera/taped auditions. She'll spend time discussing what you can and can't control during your audition, the studio and network structure, what the studio is looking for in an audition and any and all business questions you might have.
New sides will be assigned weeks #2-4 with adjustments and "surprises" to best emulate the various auditions you will be going out on.
Please upload your headshot, fill out your profile and create your resume in your Actors Connection profile registration.
