If you ever wanted to go behind the scenes of TV Puppeteering, now is your chance!
Experience the techniques of this magical and exciting business from the beginning. From the simplest of exercises to the very complex.
This One Night Intensive Class offers specific exercises for the beginning on camera puppeteer--to gain the skills needed to advance to a professional level.
Work on puppet improv - on camera
- Practice proper puppet (Muppet style) lip-sync techniques
-Learn how to use a ‘non-flipped' monitor
-Learn how to make a puppet come to life on camera!
On top of that, you'll also learn secrets and tips every all taught to bring you up to speed as a professional puppeteer!!! (not to mention you will have a BLAST!!!) Even more exciting is the fact that you'll re-create some of the Muppets most memorable moments in class...so that you can actually get inside the movement.
Paul Liberti had his first professional puppet work with Jim & Jane Henson in 1984 and has worked for Nickelodeon, Noggin, PBS, MTV, VH1, Muppet Babies Live, Muppet Show On Tour, and more. His students have gone on to work on Nickelodeon, Disney, Noggin, PBS, Avenue Q, and Sesame Street and more! This class will fill up as there are very few classes like this offered anywhere! Paul Liberti
Paul Liberti is a voice director and accent coach based in Los Angeles and, has taught Actors in NYC, Los Angeles, and nationally for Stage, On-Camera, and Voice Actors in authentic accent and character creation.
As a voice actor, Paul has booked hundreds of V/O spots and animated series, including Pokémon, Blue's Clues, Noggin's, Pinky Dinky Doo, Saturday Night Live Cartoons, and Sesame Street.
A former Muppet performer, he's also performed on Broadway as well as film and TV with credits including Showtime, Nickelodeon, PBS's Wonderpets, and Chuggington.
His audiobook credits: Scholastic, Nickelodeon, Tavoli Entertainment, Crabhill Press's audio Apps, and the Audie Award-winning Goose Bumps, and directs and casts audiobook narrators for The Razor Online Magazine through Gotham Writers Workshop.
