After RAVE reviews teaching our Advanced V/O Masterclass, we're thrilled to have Andy in teaching our newest V/O class at AC!

Over the 3 week course, Andy will be concentrating on tv and radio commercials as well as promos. He will primarily focus on script analysis and getting to know your own unique voice and your best reads, and how to "find yourself" in the copy. He will work on reading with and off of other actors, acquiring the skills to quickly problem solve confusing copy/contradictory direction and other common issues that actors will face in voiceover auditions.

Andy Roth

Specializing in voice over, Andy Roth is a casting director and voice director with over two decades in the entertainment business. After many years as the in-house casting director for CESD, one of the country's top commercial talent agencies, Andy struck out on his own. Since then he has been working for many of the biggest advertising agencies, casting houses and production companies in the world.

In his casting career, he has served as casting director on thousands of projects ranging from commercials, animated films and television series, to documentaries and video games. As a voice director he's directed several animated TV series, and his teaching resume boasts 3 of The Hollywood Reporter's top-rated college acting programs; including NYU's Tisch school where he is currently on staff. His unique approach to VO training has given hundreds of artists the ability to successfully assess, quickly and easily, any copy in any situation.
