ACTING FOR FILM & TV: 3 Week On-Camera Class with Maria Hubbard, Casting / Career Coach

In this 3 Week on-camera class, you'll work with with Maria on fine tuning your on-camera technique for television series and pilots. As a sought after acting coach and guest lecturer at undergrad and MFA programs across the country, Maria now brings her unique point of view to this 3 Week Class!

For all three classes, you'll be working on camera with extensive feedback. The 1st week, you will start off with a Q&A. Next, Maria will have a "mock" general meeting with each actor at which time you will showcase a scene of choice to assist Maria in selecting appropriate material directly for you. Throughout the course, Maria will be giving you all of the behind-the-scenes info on what you can do in the room to feel confident about your on-camera/taped auditions. She'll spend time discussing what you can and can't control during your audition, the studio and network structure, what the casting director is looking for and any and all business questions you might have.

New sides will be assigned weeks #2-3 with adjustments and "surprises" to best emulate the various auditions you will be going out on.

Maria Hubbard's passion has always been working with actors, whether in the audition room or in the classroom. Now as a full time coach and teacher, Maria shares her experiences from over 12 years in casting, including her years at the FOX network and as an independent casting director and casting associate, culminating in casting over 100 episodes of television. Including her years as an agent's assistant at The Gersh Agency, Maria's unique perspective makes her a sought after guest lecturer at undergrad and MFA programs across the country.
