Both a casting director and producer, Jodi's worked with Comedy Central, MTV, LOGO, A&E and VH1 casting huge comedy personalities. She just finished casting the first season of 50 Central, a new comedy series on A&E as well as casting for HBO's LAST WEEK TONIGHT with John Oliver.
For this intensive, you may pick from our online COMEDIC scenes once you've registered, or use your own 2-3 page COMEDIC TV scene of your choice. You'll start off with a Q&A, then Jodi will be working on-camera using the pre-read format with a reader in a group. Be prepared for feedback and to take re-adjustments on the fly.
Jodi is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities (18+) and she has called in and booked our actors from previous events.

Jodi Collins
As a casting director and producing partner + manager at JLC Entertainment Group, Jodi Collins has worked on projects for FX, Showtime, Comedy Central, A&E, ABC, MTV, LOGO, VH1, etc, typically casting sketch comedy, dramedy, soft scripted single camera and then some. Her most recent casting work includes Hasan Minaj's PATRIOT ACT and a poignant, comedic film for an upcoming Venice Film Fest award winning filmmaker. She is always casting for her reading series, Creative Control.
Jodi's entertainment company, JLC Entertainment Group also represents and develops content and talent, who often are hybrid performers/writers. Some of these 'hyphenates' have been working on popular shows for HBO, HULU, ABC in staff writer and series regular roles as well as others who are doing guest star TV work.
