NY Summer Showcase with 4 Film & TV Casting Directors & Talent Agents (Kids & Teens Weekend - Aug. 18 & 19)

Here is your chance to work with FOUR of New York's leading Casting Directors and Talent Agents this summer in our weekend event! This two-day event meets Saturday & Sunday, August 18 and 19 from 10:00am til 1:30pm at Actors Connection New York.

Act on-camera, receive feedback plus videos from the events with the four industry pros. • Networks like Disney, HBO, FX, CW, Netflix, Hulu, etc. focus on casting TV shows. • Motion Picture Studios are currently casting major films. • Commercial departments as busy year-round with a constant need for commercial, print, and voice-over talent.

Ages 7-16 will meet and perform for 2 Casting Directors working for some of these companies, and 2 Talent Agents that can get you in the door to audition.

CASTING DIRECTORS-

Rachel Goldman, Barden/Schnee Casting

AC welcomes back Rachel from one of the most respected Feature Film and Television offices in NY and LA. Rachel has collaborated on various works including Good Girls Revolt (Amazon), Girlboss (Netflix), Untouchable (The Weinstein Company), Pitch Perfect 3 (Universal), The Last O.G. (TBS), Crash and Burn (Hulu/Sony) and multiple independent films. As an office, Barden/Schnee Casting is responsible for casting The Girl on the Train, Spotlight, August: Osage County, Pitch Perfect, Dallas Buyers Club, The Help, Winter's Bone, Still Alice, among many others.

Current credits include: The Last O.G. (TBS), Crash and Burn (Hulu/Sony), Bonding (Blackpills), and multiple independent films.

Cindi Rush, Cindi Rush Casting

Casting for theater and film, Cindi is known for working on new and monumental works.

Her Broadway/Off-Broadway casting credits include: Ruthless, Disenchanted, Drop Dead Perfect, Under My Skin, Silence!, Anthem, Academia Nuts, Mr. Confidential, Homo, Legacy Falls, Mother Wife, God's Country, Bonnie and Clyde, Foreverman, My Mother's Jewish Lesbian Wiccan Wedding, Rooms, Jacques Brel, and Urinetown.

Regional Theaters include: Triad Stage, Hudson Stage Company, Penguin Rep, Pittsburgh Public, Charleston Stage Co., and Cape Fear Regional. Stephanie Corvino, CESD Talent Agency

CESD is a Bi-Coastal Talent Agency representing all ages, and Stephanie works with Youth Talent. Stephanie's clients with can be seen and heard in National Network Commercials, Animated Series and TV Shows/Films as well as major Print Ads across the USA and world.

Dina Torre, GenerationTV Talent Agency

Dina has been representing Kids & Teens at GenerationTV since 2002. Since then, she has helped build careers for Chole Mortez, Bella Thorne and Elizabeth Gillies. Currently, you can find Dina's clients on everything from Tide commercials to televisions shows as Two and ½ men, The Jim Gaffigan Show, Difficult People, Blacklist and many more. Also, clients on Broadway, presently, playing Kim in Miss Saigon and the national tour for School of Rock. Dina is always happy to add to her client list with talented young actors.

Sunday, July 8 10:00am - Showcase Prep 11:30am - On-Camera Summer Showcase with Casting Director and Two Talent Agents 1:30pm - Dismissal

Complimentary scene coaching is included before the showcase. Kids & Teens also leave with written feedback and are emailed video clips following the final day.

Important Reminders:

• Please bring 4 copies of your headshot/resume.

• You will need to prepare one scene for the weekend which we will provide and email you 1-2 days before the event.

• Parents are invited to the Showcase on Sunday at 11:30am, including a brief Q&A session with the Casting Director and Talent Agents in attendance.
