Don't miss out on this amazing ONE NIGHT ONLY on-camera intensive with this Casting Associate from one of NY's top film/TV casting offices.

Michael D'Amato began his career assisting some of the busiest casting offices in NYC, most notably with Kate Geller of Chrystie Street Casting on the FX Pilot SINGULARITY and the Showtime Pilot SMILF.

He is now a Casting Associate at Billy Hopkins Casting and is working on several independent features. Other recent credits include EMPIRE (FOX), STAR (FOX) and YOU WERE NEVER REALLY HERE, a film directed by Lynne Ramsay and starring Joaquin Phoenix.

Michael will select sides based on your HS/resume submission which you will be emailed and prepare 1-2 days in advance. You'll start off with a Q&A, then Michael will be working on-camera using the pre-read format with a reader in a group. Be prepared for feedback and to take re-adjustments on the fly.

Currently, he's interested in meeting actors of all types and ethnicities 18+ for their numerous upcoming projects.

He is most notably known for his work on P-VALLEY (Starz), Season Two of THE WONDER YEARS (ABC) and the Academy Award nominated film THE UNITED STATES VS. BILLIE HOLIDAY, directed by Lee Daniels. (*2022 Artios Award Win for Film, Non-Theatrical Release). His most recent credit is CHOPIN, directed by Vincent Lin and the Netflix film THE DELIVERANCE, directed by Lee Daniels.
