NY Summer Showcase with 4 Film & TV Casting Directors & Talent Agents (Kids & Teens Weekend - July 7 & 8)

Here is your chance to work with FOUR of New York's leading Casting Directors and Talent Agents this summer in our weekend event! This two-day event meets Saturday & Sunday, July 7 and 8 from 10am til 1:30pm at Actors Connection New York.
Act on-camera, receive feedback plus videos from the events with the four industry pros. • Networks like Disney, HBO, FX, CW, Netflix, Hulu, etc. focus on casting TV shows. • Motion Picture Studios are currently casting major films. • Commercial departments as busy year-round with a constant need for commercial, print, and voice-over talent.
Ages 7-16 will meet and perform for 2 Casting Directors working for some of these companies, and 2 Talent Agents that can get you in the door to audition.
CASTING DIRECTORS:
Liz is a CD and indie film producer credited on projects which have screened at hundreds of US and International film festivals. Credits include: Sundance, BAM Cinemafest, Toronto, Brooklyn, Palm Springs, HBO Latino, Urban World, Costa Rica among others, and have aired on CBS, Lifetime, HBO, Showtime and Cinemax.
Casting/producing highlights include: "Off The Rails" Lifetime Movie Network, "Advantageous" Sundance/streaming on Netflix/Independent Spirit Award Nomination,"Zombie Honeymoon"/Showtime. Shorts: "Pop Foul", "Crazy Beats Strong Every Time" & "The Bravest, The Boldest" all official Sundance selections, "Off Track Betty" NY Times Critics Pick, "Window Dressing" Best Dramatic Short, Atlantic City Film Festival. TV: "The Cycle"/CBS, Season One of "Monsters Inside Me"/Animal Planet. Producer/Casting for features "Barrio Boy" and "And Seen" (Documentary/director) both in production, NYC casting for feature "Love is Not Love" in pre-production. Cast "Brothers from the Bottom", for Billie Holiday Theatre.
Michelle works with Brette Goldstein Casting and predominantly casts for film, TV and commercials. She is also a producer and director.
Recent casting credits include: feature films Crazy Famous and Hedgehog, Lifetime Movie Network's I Love You But I Lied, the NY TV series Donny! on USA Network and a pilot for truTV. Past film and TV projects include: AdFirm, Sharknado 2, But Not for Me, Engram, Reaching Home, Small Miracles, Ten-One, My Bad Trip and Odd Mom Out. Commercial credits include: Nickelodeon, Vicks, Optimum Business and The Sparkle Campaign.
TALENT AGENTS:
Abrielle works directly with David Gilbert, Head Agent who has met several Kids & Teens at our previous events. ZURI clients appear in a slew of national print & commercial campaigns, on TV series including SMILF, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, LAW & ORDER SVU, KEVIN CAN WAIT, BLUE BLOODS, MOZART IN THE JUNGLE, on the big screen in films like OCEAN'S 8, PRIVATE LIFE, THE WEEK OF and on the Broadway stage.
Valerie has signed THREE of our students after meeting at our events! She runs the youth division at SW Artist Agency, representing actors for all media. Valerie brings more than 25 years of industry knowledge to her clients who can be seen on various TV shows, films, commercials and stage productions.

Sunday, July 8 10:30am - Showcase Prep 11:30am - On-Camera Summer Showcase with Casting Director and Two Talent Agents 1:30pm - Dismissal
Complimentary scene coaching is included before the showcase. Kids & Teens also leave with written feedback and are emailed video clips following the final day.
• Please bring 4 copies of your headshot/resume.
• You will need to prepare one scene for the weekend which we will provide and email you 1-2 days before the event.
• Parents are invited to the Showcase on Sunday at 11:30am, including a brief Q&A session with the Casting Director and Talent Agents in attendance.
