From one of the TOP commercial casting offices in New York, Actors Connection welcomes Angela back to teach her new On-Camera Commercial class.

Many of our actors have requested to work with Angela, so here is your opportunity!

This 3 week commercial class is an extended version of Angela's all day intensive. Week 1 will cover the business of commercials, interview and testimonial type auditions, and getting to find "your voice". Week 2 will cover tips and techniques for dealing with commercial copy and how to break it down quickly. Week 3 will cover cue cards, deeper character work, multi-person auditions, both scripted and improv.

Angela is the Managing Director of Casting for Liz Lewis Casting Partners and has been at this powerhouse office for 16 years casting on-camera commercials, V/O's, TV, Film, and theater. Recent commercial projects include: Truvia, Comcast, Verizon Fios, MTV, Plavix, Lowes, Victoria's Secret, Rockband 2, All Bran, Toyota, Holiday Inn Express, and many promos for Comedy Central.

Angela Mickey

Angela Mickey is the most long-term member of the LLCP family. As Managing Director of Casting, Angela works across the board on commercial, voice over, film, TV and theater projects, supporting and guiding our staff to dig deeper and find fresh talent.

She enjoys working with veteran and up-and-coming creatives, helping to provide an individual plan to each casting process, as well as assistance with union regulations and talent payment guidelines. Angela has worked on hundreds of on camera commercial and voice over projects, as well as helped form the real people division.   

Her recent theatrical projects include the Filipino movie musical The Girl Who Left Home, A Year and Change, ReRUN, AppleTV+ Get Rolling With Otis, Hallmark’s One Royal Holiday, Lifetime's The Holiday Fix Up, and Stalker’s Prey III: A Predator Returns.

Always looking for the new, undiscovered talent, Angela can be found conducting audition classes with actors nationwide. Winner of the 2019 Heller Award for Best Northeast Commercial and VO Casting.
