Every wonder what it's like to be in an action movie or TV show? Here's your chance to put the ACT in ACTion.
From films like "Spy Kids" to TV shows like "Flash", it's important to know the in's and out's of auditioning for characters that are heroes are thrust into a series of physical challenges.
Young performers will safely learn: - on-camera combat skills - how to stage a slap - escape an explosion - staged run and dramatic fall - green screen and more!
This special workshop will begin with the first steps when auditioning for an action movie: the script. You will be assigned a scene with a partner, on the spot, and coached on-camera with our NY professional director. The director will work with you on your performance, physicality, pacing, and intensity -- all important in the "action" genre.
Next, you will be directed and choreographed in an epic action sequence that will be recorded on-camera at the end of the event. Of course, all of these ACTions are "pretend" and the director will make sure you understand how to execute these in the safest way possible.

*** Scenes will be recorded on-camera. As a courtesy, your video clips will be made available to you within a week. An email notification will be sent when the clips are available to view and download from your Actors Connection account. Please note: from time to time technical issues do occur. As a result video clips are a courtesy, not a guarantee.***
