On-Camera TV/FILM INTENSIVE with Karlee Fomalont, Casting Associate, Rori Bergman Casting - FIRST TIME GUEST!

Karlee brings years of casting experience to this evening where she'll be working with you on what it takes to book roles in Television and Film.

She currently works with Rori Bergman on a very exciting new TV series.

For this intensive, Karlee will select sides based on your HS/resume submission which you will receive and prepare 24-48 hours in advance. You'll work with her ON-CAMERA with a reader in a group as she coaches you through your scene in a format that replicates her casting process. Karlee will provide you with constructive feedback along with on-camera audition must knows' that she feels are imperative to book roles on a professional level.

She's is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities (18+).

Karlee is a graduate of NYU Tisch Drama, and her foundation in acting made her transition into casting a seamless one. Karlee spent 2 pilot seasons at CBS Primetime Casting NY with Amy Herzig, Katharina Eggmann and Erica Goldberg, working on projects, such as "Made In Jersey," "Under The Dome," "Reckless," and more. Last pilot season, she worked with Janet Murphy Butler at ABC Primetime Casting on a slew of pilots. Karlee then joined forces with ABC co worker Erica Hart to create Hart/Fomalont Casting, working on commercials, web series, and back to back independent features: "Bear With Us," starring Christy Carlson Romano (Even Stevens), Cheyenne Jackson, Mark Sullivan, Alice Ripley, followed by "Fourth Man Out," starring Chord Overstreet (Glee), Parker Young (Enlisted), Evan Todd, John Gabrus (Guy Code), Kate Flannery (The Office) and more. They most recently completed two commercials, 5 short films, and an independent feature titled "Imitation Girl" and are gearing up for 2 more projects. In addition, Karlee recently worked with Estrin/Bergstein, Jessica Daniels, Julie Schubert, and Jodi Collins.

Karlee Fomalont

Karlee Fomalont, CSA, is a 4-time Artios Award Nominee and graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where her acting training made for a seamless transition into casting.

She began her career at CBS Primetime NY and ABC Primetime NY before moving into independent casting.

Karlee has worked with Rori Bergman for 10 years, film credits include: “A Complete Unknown” (Artios Nominee, Best Casting BAFTA nominee), Steven Spielberg's "The Post" (Artios Nominee), “Empire Waist” (Artios Nominee), "Private Life" (Artios Nominee), "I Care a Lot," Charlie Kaufman’s "I’m Thinking of Ending Things," "You Hurt My Feelings” (Sundance ‘23), "Eileen" (Sundance ‘23), "Shortcomings" (Sundance ‘23), “The Young Wife” (SXSW ‘23), “No Hard Feelings,” “Retribution,” “Happiness for Beginners” (Netflix), “Darkest Miriam” (Tribeca ’24) “Turn Me On” (San Sebastian ’24) among many others.

TV credits include: "The Get Down" (Netflix), "Power Book III: Raising Kanan" (Starz), “The Last Frontier” (Apple+), "Living with Yourself" (Netflix), "Yearly Departed" (Amazon), "Run the World" (Starz), "Love Life" (Netflix), "The Good Cop" (Netflix), "Friends from College" (Netflix), and "Rabbit Hole" (Paramount+).

She was awarded the Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award at the 2024 Artios Awards for her work with Covenant House NY. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, and currently resides in New York City.
