MAJOR TV NETWORKS SHOWCASE for Kids/Teens with Jen Rudin CSA, Casting Director (DISNEY CHANNEL, NICK JR., SESAME STREET, MOVIES & MORE!)

Actors Connection is thrilled to welcome Jen who is just finished casting FOUR pilots and is working on new projects involving Kids & Teens. She is the former Casting Executive for the Walt Disney Company and since has started her own casting company. Recent projects include a TV series for The Disney Channel and Sesame Street, the animated series "Peter Rabbit" for Nick Jr., a major commercial campaign for Charmin, the remake of "Vacation" for New Line Cinema and the animated features "Savva" and "Rock Dog".

You will be assigned sides (scene) which will be emailed to you to prepare 2-3 days before this intensive. The audition intensive starts off with a complimentary coaching led by our in-studio Professional Director, followed by an ON-CAMERA SHOWCASE to Jen Rudin and friends/family at 4:30pm. The event concludes with an informative Q&A as well as written feedback from Jen. FYI, you can spend the day training at our studio! Jen Rudin is an Award-Winning Casting Director who grew up in New York City and began her professional acting career at age eight. Past casting projects include Academy Award Winning film "The Incredibles", "Meet the Robinsons" (2007 Artios Nomination), Academy Award nominated "Brother Bear" and "Savva".

In Los Angeles, Jennifer cast the Los Angeles premiere of Jason Robert Brown's musical "13", winner of the 2008 LA Drama Critics Circle Award.The Incredibles, The Lorax, Princess and the Frog, Shake It Up, Tim Burton's Frankenweenie, and more.

Currently, Jen is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities (18+) for current and future projects.

Jen spent seven years as a Casting Executive at The Walt Disney Company. From 2002-2007, Jennifer served as head of casting for Walt Disney Animation Studios in Burbank, California and she won the 2006 Artios Award for casting Chicken Little and the 2010 Artios Award for The Princess and the Frog. From 2007-2009, she served as Director of Casting and Talent Development for Disney Theatrical Productions in New York City. Jen has since starter her own casting company and still works closely with Disney as well as new clients.

All participants will also receive a copy of Jen's newly published book - CONFESSIONS OF A CASTING DIRECTOR.
