THEATER INTENSIVE with Joe Gery, Associate Casting Director, Caparelliotis Casting

REGISTER NOW for this ONE NIGHT ONLY theater intensive with this NY Associate Casting Director who is constantly casting for new theater projects!

Joe is interested in seeing committed actors looking for honest and constructive feedback.

For this one night intensive, Joe will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

Assignments will be emailed 1-3 days in advance from sides@actorsconnection.com. Please bring in TWO copies of your sides - one for you, and one for your reader (with the reader's lines highlighted). 

PLEASE NOTE: Once scenes have been distributed, if you LATE CANCEL you WILL NOT BE REPLACED.

Always bring a hardcopy of your headshot/resume to class for feedback purposes.

Joe Gery

Joe Gery is a Casting Associate who has worked extensively in theater with Caparelliotis Casting, as well as recently with Meredith Tucker Casting in television.

Some of his previous credits include: The Minutes, King Lear, Hillary and Clinton, The Waverly Gallery, Junk, Meteor Shower, Three Tall Women, The Boys in the Band, A Doll's House Part 2, The Glass Menagerie, The Front Page, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, & Blackbird.

He has also worked on productions at the following theaters: Signature, Atlantic, Ars Nova, and PlayCo. Regionally: The Old Globe, Steppenwolf, The Goodman, Arena Stage, McCarter, Studio Theatre, and Berkeley Rep.

TV: New Amsterdam (Pilot), Godfather of Harlem, The Bold Type.
