New! 2 Week Class - AUDITIONING AUTHENTICALLY: How to Bring Your True Self to Your Auditions w/ Matthew Glasner, Film & TV Casting Professional
Tuesday, March 10, 2020, 7pm ET / 4pm PT
This event is in the past.

Here's your chance to work with Matthew Glasner, a top film/TV casting professional whose credits include multiple hit NETFLIX series as well as Academy Award winning films!
In this 2-Week course, Matthew will help you discover what you bring to the table as an artist and guide you towards understanding your true brand. Actors often misrepresent themselves when submitting for projects, using headshots and other materials that don’t “match” the person who walks into the room. Matthew will break down how to correctly market yourself so that the submission reflects your authentic self.
The class will start off with an informative group Q&A, followed by your presentation of a scene on-camera opposite a reader. For weeks 1 and 2, Matthew will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. Scenes will vary to include Film/TV of all genres. Please keep in mind that Matthew's assignments may differ from week-to-week depending on how well your headshot represents you.
Assignments will be emailed 1-3 days in advance from sides@actorsconnection.
Currently, Matt is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities 18+ for current and future projects.
Always bring a hardcopy of your headshot/resume to class for feedback purposes.
Scenes will be recorded on-camera and made available to you within one week. An email notification will be sent from videos@actorsconnection.
