TV/FILM Intensive with BI-COASTAL CD, LAUREN BASS, Owner of Bass Casting

For this one night intensive, Lauren will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.
Assignments will be emailed 1-3 days in advance from sides@actorsconnection.
Always bring a hardcopy of your headshot/resume to class for feedback purposes.
Scenes will be recorded on-camera and made available to you within one week. An email notification will be sent from videos@actorsconnection.

Lauren Bass
Lauren began her casting career working for one of LA's top TV casting offices, Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer, where she worked on such hit shows as CSI, Jack & Bobby and Everwood. She then went to work for one of the most respected feature film casting directors in the business, Mali Finn. With Mali, Lauren cast such notable films as The Assassination of Jesse James, Shooter, and Avatar. Following Mali's retirement, Lauren partnered with her brother, Jordan, to open bass/casting - a bicoastal casting & production company - that specializes in ensemble casting across film, TV and new media.
Recent films include: Taylor Sheridan's Wind River starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen, Izzy Gets the F*ck Across Town starring Mackenzie Davis, Carrie Coon, Haley Joel Osment and Alia Shawkat, Brampton's Own starring Alex Russell, Jean Smart & Rose McIver, and Richard Tanne's Chemical Hearts starring Lili Reinhart and Austin Abrams for Amazon
Other film credits include: New Line's Annabelle, Blumhouse's Martyrs, HBO/Project Greenlight's The Leisure Class, the LA Casting for Joachim Trier's Louder Than Bombs and The Last Exorcism produced by Eli Roth.
TV credits include: CW Seed's "Beerfest", YouTube/Disney's "Hyperlinked", Go90's "The 5th Quarter", HBO's "The Young Pope" (LA Casting), Ed Burns' TNT series "Public Morals" (LA casting/pilot), the Starz drama "Spartacus: Blood & Sand", Nickelodeon's "Big Time Rush", DirectTV's "Suit Up", and Vin Diesel's "The Ropes".
