For this intensive, you may pick from our online scenes once you've registered, or use your own 2-3 page comedic scene of your choice. Please prepare a scene that you feel truly shows off your type and being "off book" is best! You'll start off with a Q&A, then Jodi will be working on-camera using the pre-read format with a reader in a group. Be prepared for feedback and to take re-adjustments on the fly.
Jodi is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities (18+) and she has called in and booked our actors from previous events.
***Scenes will be recorded on-camera. As a courtesy, your video clips will be made available to you within a week. An email notification will be sent when the clips are available to view and download from your Actors Connection account. Please note: from time to time technical issues do occur, as a result video clips are a courtesy, not a guarantee.***

Jodi Collins
As a casting director and producing partner + manager at JLC Entertainment Group, Jodi Collins has worked on projects for FX, Showtime, Comedy Central, A&E, ABC, MTV, LOGO, VH1, etc, typically casting sketch comedy, dramedy, soft scripted single camera and then some. Her most recent casting work includes Hasan Minaj's PATRIOT ACT and a poignant, comedic film for an upcoming Venice Film Fest award winning filmmaker. She is always casting for her reading series, Creative Control.
Jodi's entertainment company, JLC Entertainment Group also represents and develops content and talent, who often are hybrid performers/writers. Some of these 'hyphenates' have been working on popular shows for HBO, HULU, ABC in staff writer and series regular roles as well as others who are doing guest star TV work.
