Transitioning from Stage to Screen - On-Camera Intensive with Maria Hubbard, Coach & Career Consultant - FIRST TIME OFFERED!
Sunday, November 24, 2019, 1:00pm
Are you a theatre trained performer that is craving screen time but a little nervous about getting started?
This class was created just for you! In this special event Maria will help you ease into the transition from Stage to Screen. Open yourself up to on-camera booking opportunities by growing your skillset and increasing your comfort level using film/tv sides. Maria will give you specific guidance on how to adjust your abilities to the subtlety of working on screen.
For this event, please prepare 1-2 sets of guest star or series regular sides (2-3 pages in length) that truly represent the type of roles you can play right now for feedback and adjustments. Then, after a short break, Maria will assign cold sides for you to quickly prepare and present for additional feedback and training.
Scenes will be recorded on-camera and made available to you within one week. An email notification will be sent from videos@actorsconnection.
**Please keep in mind that all programs at Actors Connection are for educational and professional development purposes. Participating in any class or event is not a promise of employment.**
