NEW 6 WEEK ATLANTA CLASS- FOUNDATIONS OF ACTING

Monday, July 15, 2019, 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Still needing to building your foundational acting skills?  Join us for this introductory level course, running 6 weeks this summer.

This class is designed for adult actors who are looking to build, or continue building, a strong foundation as an actor; a strong foundation that will lead to authentic, grounded acting that will serve the actor on stage or on screen. Students will engage in acting and movement exercises as well as scene work in this class. 

In This Course, Students Can Expect To:

-Learn to work from a place of authenticity that will serve the stage and the screen 

-Practice in depth scene analysis that will serve the story 

-Discover and practice the art of fully listening in acting 

-Explore working with imagination. 

-Learn to trust yourself and bring yourself to the work

 

Class is limited to 12 students. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: This class takes place in Actors Connection's Atlanta Studio located in the King Plow Arts Center, 887 W Marietta Street NW, Atlanta Suite M103.

Location Notes- The event is in our new ATLANTA location, in the King Plow Arts Center.  We will be located at 887 W Marietta Street, NW.  Park in the deck and walk into the main building by Actors Express.  Walk past the ballroom studio and straight back into the courtyard.  Then stay to the right along the M building wall and enter the door closest to the koi pond.  Make your first left, we are suite M103.
