Acting for Film—Using Your Intuition! with Actress, Author, and Teacher CATHY HAASE - How to Strengthen Your Craft By Strengthening Your Imaginary Reality!
Monday, July 8, 2019, 7:00pm
Acting with Intuition is a special event that will strengthen and expand your craft through relaxing into the work.
You will explore the endless possibilities of being in the moment! By allowing yourself to take the time and space to be in the moment, you’ll be able to create the imaginary reality that surrounds your character. Through exercises, improvisation and bodywork, you will explore how to strengthen the craft you need to reach those moments that you intuitively know are within your capabilities. You will learn to create the unique and believable characters with the intuitive use of the self.
For this special event, please bring a written text of a character you are working on or would like to start working on--just a few lines, 10 at the most - and wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. We will work as a group and have time for a few individuals to explore specific elements of the work.
Limited to 14 actors.
