Join Sweet Spot's, Adam Michael Rose and Talia Gonzalez, professional speech and accent reduction coaches, in a fun, relaxed class that will leave you communicating clearly and more comfortable being yourself in audition or public speaking situations. We'll briefly introduce you to the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) to identify American sounds, then transition into storytelling and commercial copy, integrating proper pronunciation. We'll target each student's individual issues, integrating proper phrasing, inflection and rhythm. You'll leave this seminar knowing what you need to practice to speaking English with more confidence, clarity and ease!

Adam Michael Rose was doing British dialects at the age of ten, thanks to TV shows like Nickelodeon's Danger Mouse. He later realized a love for other accents and dialects, and eventually became a dialect coach and accent reduction teacher. Adam studied theater, voice, and speech at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. While living in New York, he trained at The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, and Playwrights Horizons Theater. He's taught both accent reduction and dialects at schools, colleges, acting studios, and theater companies throughout the country. Talia Gonzalez also studied at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and Atlantic Acting School. She's voiced numerous commercials for the likes of DSW, JC Penney, Sprint, Ricola, Axe Shampoo, Tide, Starwood Hotels, American Eagle, to name a few. She's also recorded many computer & video games (Nintendo Wii, Scholastic), website narrations, educational software and documentaries. Most notably,Talia was the voice of Anne Frank (with a German accent) for Disney's documentary series They Spoke Out.
