This event is in the past.

If you're an actor, you've probably heard of The Eric Morris System. But, how is this different than other techniques and ways of working? … and is this for YOU? The title of Eric Morris's famous first book, No Acting Please - with foreword by Jack Nicholson (a former student) - sums it up nicely. This revolutionary acting System is the result of almost 50 years Eric has dedicated to addressing gaps found in other acting techniques and methodologies. From conception, Eric Morris created over 1000 instrumental exercises to liberate the actors from common actor blocks and over 30 (Choice Approaches) ways of fulfilling the character's reality. In this exclusive Acting Master Class, Anthony Vincent Bova will give a quick introduction to the System. He will demonstrate how this System works, with one or two actors from the audience. Volunteers should have a short monologue (1-2 minutes) prepared. Don't miss this unique opportunity and a FIRST TIME GUEST to Actors Connection! Anthony is the Artistic Director of the Bova Actors Workshop and Ionica Theater based in Times Square New York. As the exclusive New York instructor of the Eric Morris System, and a protege of Eric Morris since 1986, Anthony teaches nationwide and is now global with workshops in Europe and Asia. Prior to founding the Bova Actors Workshop, Anthony was on staff at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, HB Studios, and the New York Film Academy.
