Steve Stancato

With over 1,600 casting projects under his belt since 2004, Freelance Casting Director, Casting Producer & Industry expert Steve Stancato believes mastering both a creative and business mindset is what makes actors successful.    

For nearly 20 years, he has been involved with finding and booking diverse union and non-union talent for LiveStream, UGC, Commercials, Web, Branded Content, AR, VR, Print, Voice Over, Film/TV, Music Videos, Industrials, Documentaries and New Media Platforms Nationwide - primarily working in NYC and LA markets.  As a Former Vice President and Casting Director at Paladino Casting, the bulk of his experience was in Commercial Casting (Pepsi, AT&T, Best Buy, Burger King, Gap, Reebok, Sony, Listerine, Sudafed ) and Music Videos (Madonna, Rhianna, Lenny Kravitz, Bon Jovi). Since 2019, he's collaborated with mulitple casting teams and production companies to work on a variety of projects (Tik-Tok, Walmart PayPal, Apple and PBS American Portrait.) He also has taught and led multiple educational workshops and seminars for actors in the past 10 years. 

With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Steve has a unique insider perspective on what can help actors in their career (and it is not just about talent, drive or passion.)  Currently, Steve is casting non-union leads, supporting and background roles for two True-Crime shows on Discovery ID.
