Sonja is an Award Winning Film Director who is currently looking for actors for her newest project filming in NYC this Summer!
Sonja wrote and produced the feature film OVUM (cast by Kimberly Graham at the Emmy-winning casting office of Judy Henderson & Associates) which went on to win "Best Picture" at the Big Apple Film Festival (chosen by a jury from IndieWire, HBO & Film Buff), "Best Dark Comedy" at The Manhattan Film Festival and was released by Sony's The Orchard. Her new hour-long TV series DOOMSDAY is a finalist for the upcoming Sundance Episodic Lab and was an official selection at The New York Television Festival (where she won the BEST DIRECTOR award alongside her co-director Jaspal Binning.) and went on to win BEST SERIES at HBO's ITVFest. Sonja is currently casting her new project ANATOMY OF AN ORCHID which will film this summer in New York City.
Sonja is also a producer and professional actor.

Sonja O'Hara
Sonja O'Hara is an award-winning writer/director (featured as one of Independent Magazine's "10 Filmmakers To Watch") who will be shooting her next pilot "Triad" , which is cast by Erica Hart.
Her next series "Astral" will be produced by Adaptive Studios (Netflix's "Coin Heist", HBO's "Project Greenlight") and production on the six episodes will begin this winter.
Sonja created the TV series DOOMSDAY (available on Amazon Prime) which was a finalist for the Sundance Episodic Lab and an official selection at The New York Television Festival (where she won the BEST DIRECTOR award).
