Helene Galek
Helene is a freelance casting director that specializes in the low budget, indie market. Her projects have included short films, trailers, web series, documentary voice over, legit theater and musicals. Helene began her casting with Manhattantheatresource and its many one-act festivals and consulted on some of their main-stage productions as well. Some of her most recent projects include: "The Wrong Box" part of the Dream Up Festival in NYC, "Tech Bettys", a web series, the short films, "Out to Dry" and "Out of the Ash" and feature film, "Chasing Banksy". Currently, she is attached to three feature films and two short films- NY and LA. Helene is also an actor and is writing her first book- a look back on a gothic soap opera and the teen years.
