Find out all you need to know to prepare for one of the busiest seasons for casting, known as "Pilot Season", with more auditions than usual starting in January for networks like Disney, HBO, FX, CW, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Get an inside look at upcoming castings and events with Pilot Season underway. Whether on-screen or on-stage, learn about opportunities to showcase with New York's best Casting Directors, and Talent Agents.

Jazelle Foster, Actors Connection Kids & Teens Program Associate, will answer the following questions for parents with kids working in the entertainment industry to those whose children want to break-in:

★ Where do I find legit auditions?
★ What do I need to stand-out at auditions?
★ New York or Los Angeles?
★ How do I find an agent or manager?
★ What's the secret behind a successful headshot?
★ Do I need a video demo-reel?
★ How can my child have a resume without credits?

...and many more.

We will also chat about ways to build relationships with "movers and shakers" in the business and how to take your child's career to the next level.

You're welcome to bring your child's headshot/resume or portfolio for feedback, and if don't have anything to share at this time, that's fine too, come as you are and we'll help you get started.

This complimentary event is designed for parents of kids ages 7-16 and for teens. Younger kids might find this event too informational, but are welcome to sit-in with their parent.
