ONLINE INTENSIVE with LA CD ALEXIS ALLEN WINTER, CSA

For this intensive,  each student should select sides to prepare and perform for the event.  Please email a copy of your sides to jess@actorsconnection.com so the reader for the event can be prepared with your material.  The event will start off with an informative virtual Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene opposite a reader. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

In this class, expect to learn the following:

1) How to make authentic and powerful choices with your sides

2) Practice appropriate eye lines for working on camera

3) How to make clean and clear adjustments when given feedback in the room.

Alexis Allen Winter

Alexis Allen started casting in the southeast on productions such as One Tree HillEastbound and Down, and We're the Millers. She made the move to Los Angeles in 2012 and has worked most notably for Laray Mayfield, Rich Delia, Courtney Bright/Nicole Daniels, Tamara Notcutt, and Sheila Jaffe in recent years.  More recent credits include include Breakthru, Step-Up High Water, and The Nun.

She is passionate about actors and creating a more efficient casting process that benefits everyone, while bringing her industry into the 21st century by utilizing the technological tools that are at our fingertips. Her classes focus on audition and self tape tips, as well as how-to's for new and developing actors in representation, headshots, and submissions.
