ADVANCED MUSICAL THEATRE Audition Master Class with Kaitlin Shaw, Casting Director, Tara Rubin Casting

From one of the busiest Broadway casting offices in NY, Actors Connection is thrilled to have Kaitlin teaching this ONE NIGHT ONLY Musical Theater Audition Master Class.

PLEASE NOTE: This Master Class is designed for the ADVANCED Musical Theater actor and should have previous MT credits/experience.

For this Master Class, please prepare 2 contrasting songs and bring your book as Kaitlin may want to hear something additional. The evening will start off with a Q & A, and then each actor will perform for Kaitlin using your prepared material in a group format. She will coach, give direction and offer possible recommendations of material to "check out" if what you are currently using doesn't "work".

Past projects include: Sunset Boulevard, Bandstand, Freaky Friday, Little Dancer, Here Lies Love, Mamma Mia!, It Should Have Been You, Gigi, Dr Zhivago, Bullets Over Broadway, A Time to Kill, Peter and the Starcatcher, Flashdance, Ghost, Billy Elliot, How to Succeed, Mary Poppins, Shrek, Young Frankenstein, The Little Mermaid, My Fair Lady, The Pirate Queen, Spamalot, Spelling Bee, The Producers and Guys and Dolls, to name a few. They are also responsible for casting at regional theatres such as Yale Repertory, Westport Country Playhouse, The Old Globe, and Bucks County Playhouse.
