On-Camera FILM/TELEVISION Intensive with SATCHEL BUCK JONES, FREELANCE Associate CD!

Saturday, March 2, 2019, 1pm ET / 10am PT

This event is in the past.

Satchel began his career by casting assisting legendary Casting Director, Ellen Lewis. Fast-forward nearly four years later and he's worked with the likes of Allison Estrin & Henry Russell Bergstein of Estrin/Bergstein Casting, and most recently wrapped the new series "The First Wives Club" for BET with Beke/White.

This intensive will be structured to fine-tune your film/TV audition skill set and help you book that next role! Based upon your headshot and resume, you'll be emailed a film/tv scene to prepare which you will receive in advance. You'll start off with a Q&A, and then Satchel will begin working with you with a reader, on-camera, in a group format. Be prepared for feedback and adjustments.

*** Scenes will be recorded on-camera. As a courtesy, your video clips will be made available to you within a week. An email notification will be sent when the clips are available to view and download from your Actors Connection account. Please note: from time to time technical issues do occur. As a result video clips are a courtesy, not a guarantee.***

Please upload your headshot and create a resume in your online account upon registration

PLEASE NOTE: Once scenes have been distributed by Satchel, if you LATE cancel, we may not be able to replace you.

Satchel Buck Jones

Satchel Buck Jones -- named after a baseball player and not to be confused with a bag -- is a freelance casting associate who recently moved to LA after seven years in NYC. After graduating with a B.F.A in Theatre Arts & Creative Writing from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA, Satchel took two weeks to collect his things before he promptly packed up his life and left the Midwest for NYC. Upon arriving, he fell into the world of talent representation and worked for nearly three years in the commercial Voice-Over Department at CESD Talent Agency. Having loved working one-on-one with actors but wanting to focus more on television, theatre, and film, he made the jump into casting assisting legendary Casting Director, Ellen Lewis. Since then he's worked for the likes of Allison Estrin & Henry Russell Bergstein of Estrin/Bergstein Casting, Cody Beke and Seth White of Beke/White Casting, and more. Currently, he has set-up shop at Telsey + Co in Los Angeles.
