Our NEW voice over masterclass will give you all the tools you need to connect and make firm committed choices to BOOK more V/O jobs! You'll work on a variety of V/O commercial copy that each guest will be bringing in as well as some specific areas that each guest will tailor for their classes.

Our scheduled V/O guests for the 6 weeks include:

James Murray, V/O Agent, Abrams Artists Agency - Week 1 and 2 Jason Sasportas, V/O Agent, Stewart Talent - Week 3 and 4 and John McKinney, CD, Pomann Sound - Week 5 and 6

Not for the beginner, this class is for the experienced V/O actor who is auditioning but not booking, or even successful actors who simply want to book MORE.

Limited to 12 Experienced Voice Over Actors

James Murray works in the Voiceover Department of Abrams Artists Agency in the areas of Commercials, Industrials, Promos, TV affiliates and Radio imaging. He has been with Abrams Artists Agency since the fall of 2008 and is a graduate of The State University of New York College at Cortland. James also represented the United States in rugby at the 19th World Maccabiah Games in the Summer of 2013.

Upbeat and friendly, John McKinney casts and directs voiceover talent for national TV and radio spots as well as occasional film and animation at Pomann Sound. Recent clients include: Verizon, Heineken, Castrol Motor Oil, Fisher-Price and Michelob. While the majority of his work involves union talent, John will occasionally get non-union jobs and is always on the lookout for skilled non-union voice talent. Prior to working as a casting director, John spent over twenty years as a copywriter for various New York ad agencies including Grey, LCF&L and Gotham where he both created and cast national campaigns for Proctor & Gamble, General Foods, Mercedes-Benz, Lufthansa, AT&T Wireless and countless other brands. He has also spent time behind the microphone as a voiceover actor himself and as a former radio DJ. This diverse background gives John a unique ability to interpret ad copy with subtlety and precision and to help actors do the same. John will also be accepting V/O demos. He's called in and booked our AC actors from seminars and classes here at Actors Connection.

Jason Sasportas is the head of the voice-over department at Stewart Talent, a premier boutique agency in NY. He has booked clients on numerous national network television and radio campaigns including Subway, McDonald's, Wendy's, Stouffer's, Seroquel, Humira, Abilify, Nicorette, AARP, Liberty Mutual, Charles Schwabb, Walmart, CVS, HBOGo Online, Yoplait, & Kitchen Aide. While commercials are his main focus, Jason covers all areas of voice-over. He has clients working regularly as audio book narrators and has booked talent on documentaries for A&E, National Geographic and The Weather Channel, in addition to various animation and videogame projects.
