For this intensive, Angela will select sides that will be emailed to each actor in advance based on your headshot/resume submission. You will find out immediately if your materials "represent" what you are trying to market from a Casting Director's perspective. The intensive will start off with an informative Q & A followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader ON-CAMERA in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments. Her advice and feedback will be brilliant and will immediately affect your audition technique. Angela is a Los Angeles based casting director, with over 10 years of experience casting a wide range of projects extending from independent films to major studio productions that cover many genres. She began her career with her mentor and renowned casting director, Denise Chamian. Working closely with Chamian, she made a name for herself with her exceptional eye for talent, an open, creative mind and tireless work ethic all of which helped earn her a reputation as a well respected casting director. She found success starting her own casting shingle with casting partner, Barbara McCarthy. Angela has worked with A-list directors such as Tony Scott, Gore Verbinski, Michael Bay, Bruce Robinson, and Francis Lawrence, among others. She has also worked with Hollywood's top acting talent, including Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Chris Pine, Denzel Washington, Reese Witherspoon and Rashida Jones, to name a few.
