New! AUDITIONING for GUEST & CO-STAR ROLES: 2-Week Online Class with Jamie Castro CSA, Casting Director, Castro Casting

Thursday, May 20, 2021, 7pm ET / 4pm PT

With years of casting Shonda Rhimes TV series like Scandal and Grey's Anatomy, we're excited to have Jamie teaching this online class focused on auditioning and booking guest and co-star roles for television series and pilots.

Jamie will assist you in connecting auditioning as an opportunity to do what you love to do: act. Trouble shooting what's in your way and working with you on developing strategies for your next auditions.

Each class will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.
 

What to Prepare:

For this online class, Jamie will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed 1-3 days in advance. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Jamie Castro Rausch

Jamie started her career in casting as an intern for the 2006 Pete Berg directed film "The Kingdom".

From her first day, she knew she wanted to build her career in casting.

Since then, she's worked with the industry's top casting directors before finally going out on her own. Jamie has worked in both film & television, most recently for the Shondaland shows SCANDAL, GREY'S ANATOMY, STATION 19 and INVENTING ANNA for Netflix.
