New! Online COMEDY COMMERCIAL INTENSIVE with Casting Director RIKKI GIMELSTOB

Rikki is back teaching this new COMEDY COMMERCIAL intensive!

In one evening, she'll work with you on assigned commercial copy and how to infuse comedy into them. You'll be coached on subtle humor (for both on-camera and commercial) while veering away from broad corny humor.

What to Prepare:

For this online intensive, Rikki will select Commercial Copy for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Rikki Gimelstob

Rikki is a New York based Casting Director currently casting two network television shows at Jonathan Strauss Casting. She has previously worked as a staff member at Telsey + Company in addition to Donna Grossman Casting and NBCUniversal.  

Select credits include: MERRY KISS CAM (HULU/MARVISTA), KEVIN CAN F**K HIMSELF (AMC), HELPSTERS (APPLETV+), THE LAST OG (TBS), Sarah Cooper and Cindy Chupack's Untitled Pilot (CBS), NOS4A2 (AMC), and numerous pilots for NBC, AMC and FOX. 

Rikki has also cast Spike Jonze’s “Changers: A Dance Story” and has contributed to the casting of St. Ann’s Warehouse’s productions “People, Places & Things” and the West-End transfer of “The Jungle.”  She also has experience casting union and non-union commercials, as well as print and voice-overs. Her favorite part of her job is coaching actors during their auditions to help them find their own unique take on the role.

A member of both the Casting Society of America and the Television Academy, Rikki is a graduate of the University of Michigan. She is also very involved with Cycle For Survival, a charity that raises money for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
