Looking for representation during a pandemic is no easy feat and you need feedback to make sure you are understanding how different people in the industry think about your skillset and marketability - that's why we are launching ONLINE PERSONAL MANAGER SHOWCASES.

Showcase to THREE Personal Management Companies in NYC and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

This panel includes:

-Jack Flanagan, Talent Manager, Entertainment Lab - FIRST TIME GUEST!

-Thomas Green, Talent Manager / Producer, Lakey Wolff & Co.

-TJ Stein, Owner / Personal Manager, Stein Entertaiment (Bi-Coastal Office)
 

What to Prepare:

For this showcase, please prepare a monologue OR a scene of choice that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. You can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration), OR bring in your own 2-3 page scene. 

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

**Actors Connection classes and programming are for ADULTS (18+). With permission, some teens (14+) are allowed to take adult programming. To inquire about getting permission, please send an email to: info@actorsconnection.com**

Jack Flanagan

Jack Flanagan is a Talent Manager at Entertainment Lab. USC Graduate from School of Cinematic Arts: Cinema and Television Critical Studies. 2014-2016 Talent Manager at Marshak & Mills. Born in Palos Verdes, California. Joined the Entertainment Lab team in 2016.

Entertainment Lab is a bicoastal Talent Management and Production company, with locations in Beverly Hills, CA and Manhattan, NY. The company deals with all aspects of the storytelling process - from screenwriting to talent to production.

Entertainment Lab guides and develops careers of established actors, writers and directors in film, TV, theater, commercial, print and voice over work. The roster includes Academy Award, Emmy Award, BAFTA, GLAAD, AFI, Sundance, SXSW, Kids’ Choice Award and other festival and award contenders, nominees and winners.

Additionally, the company’s literary department collaborates with other production houses on packaging and development of film and TV projects. Entertainment Lab was formed by Matt Ilczuk and Sean Dubravac in 2011 in Hollywood, CA (approved by SAG-AFTRA). 

Thomas Green

Thomas Green joins Lakey Wolff & Company after previously being an associate at another management firm, with a focus on Theatre, Television, Film and Commercials.

He found a passion for the business side, as he was always guiding his peers to help them achieve their goals and aspirations. Along with the team at Lakey Wolff & Company, he continues to cultivate artists, taking them to the next level of their career and further establishing their team based on their desires and needs. With his background in Musical Theatre, and strong interest in Television and Film, he offers a foundation to support the artist in an ever changing industry.

TJ Stein

President of the company, TJ Stein holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University. Before entering Talent Management, Stein worked in casting at FOX, ABC and Development at NBC. Stein Entertainment successfully placed many talented actors into their biggest projects including; Justice Smith in Jurassic World and Pokemon, Taylour Paige in the VH1 Series Hit The Floor, Alexander Gould who starred as Shane Botwin in the Showtimes series "Weeds" for eight seasons and Seychelle Gabriel seen as Princess Yue in M. Night Shymalan's live-action film of the cult Nickelodeon series The Last Airbender. Seychelle portrayed the younger version of Eva Mendes's character, Sand, in Frank Miller's The Spirit and had an arc on ABC's "Revenge" and starred in Honey 2 along with as a Regular in five seasons of "Falling Skies", from producer Steven Spielberg on TNT and as the voice of Asami in the Animated Series Legend of Korra.

Currently, the company booked 7 major pilots and represents Breezy Eslin who will next be seen starring in the new Ryan Murphy Pilot Scream Queens and the star of Paper Towns! Stein Entertainment Group launched the careers of Miles Heizer in NBC Series Parenthood, as the brooding teenage son, Drew and Briga Heelan in "Ground Floor" "Undateable" on NBC, Adam Hicks who went on to star in the Disney Series, Zeke and Luther and worked with David Henrie who appeared in the Disney Series Wizards of Waverley Place among many others. Stein placed Sara Paxton in films and television series including her teen hits; Aquamarine, Sleepover, Sydney White, Shark Night and represented Paxton for over 2 decades.
