This event is in the past.

Thinking about creating your own content?  Or exploring writing?  This class can help!

Under the watchful eye of David, the class will discover an overview of the elements of playwriting and what makes a good play. At the end of the first class, writing prompts will be assigned and due the following week.

The next four classes students will be working through different prompts and doing readings of the work accomplished week by week.  Each class culminates in a writing prompt for the following week.

All writing prompts are tailored towards the different elements of playwrighting (dialogue, conflict, subtext, commodity of words, etc.) and common writing traps to provide a holistic education on playwriting within these few sessions.

The final class will be a scene night with professional actors invited to class to read aloud to all writers.

This class is limited to 6 students.
