TV & FILM AUDITION PREP - 4 Week On-Camera Class with Lorrie Odom, Professional Actress and Acting Coach

Looking to perfect your audition technique and learn the skills to nail television and film auditions? This 4 week on-camera class will replicate the "real world" television/film audition process and give you insider industry tips to help you book!

For this three week class, Lorrie will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

In each class you will be working with Lorrie on new scenes, building your way from Co-Stars to Series Regular roles.

Week 1 - Co-Star/Supporting Sides

Week 2 - Guest Star/Recurring Sides

Week 3 - Series Regular/Lead Sides

Week 4- Set Life Discussion, Marketing & Q&A

Assignments will be emailed 1-3 days in advance from sides@actorsconnection.com. Please bring in TWO copies of your sides to EACH CLASS - one for you, and one for your reader (with the reader's lines highlighted). 

Scenes will be recorded on-camera and made available to you within one week. An email notification will be sent from videos@actorsconnection.com when the clips are available to view and download from your AC account. Videos are for educational purposes only and are NOT to be posted on YouTube, Facebook, or any other public viewing site. Please note: Occasionally technical issues do occur, as a result video clips are a courtesy, not a guarantee.

Lorrie Odom

Lorrie Odom is a Howard University graduate and has been an actress in NYC for the past 20 years. She's a recurring on HULU's original series SHUT EYE, Season 2 opposite star Isabella Rossellini and can currently be seen on NETFLIX in the film KINGS opposite Oscar Winner Halle Berry.

Lorrie's film credits include: ISN'T IT ROMANTIC opposite Rebel Wilson, BUFFALOED opposite Zoey Deutch, and BODY CAM opposite Mary J. Blige.
