On-Camera TV INTENSIVE with Josy Rodriguez, Assoc. CD, Bowling/Miscia Casting

For this class, Josy will select sides based on your HS/resume submission which you will receive and prepare in advance. You'll work with her ON-CAMERA in a group as she coaches you through your scene in a format that replicates her office's casting process. She'll provide you with constructive feedback along with on-camera audition tips that she feels are imperative to booking roles on a professional level.

Josy Rodriguez
Born and Raised in East Harlem, New York, Josy Rodriguez is a New York native through and through. Starting her career for Bowling Miscia Casting in 2013, she began as an intern where she worked on "Hostages" (CBS) and "Blue Bloods" Season 3, where she moved up to Casting Assistant during season 4 & 5, becoming an Associate for Season 6 - 10 and Eventually, becoming Casting Director in Season 10.
Other bodies of work include Gotham (FOX) Season 1-5, Hightown Season 1 , Pilot casting for "Difficult People'' and 2 seasons of the hit Amazon series "Harlem". She has also worked on several short films which include the Spike Lee produced "Rainbow Ruthie", the IMDb Independent Shorts Award winning "MA", "Killing Evan" and most recently "S.P.I.C.". She just wrapped Season 13 of Blue Bloods and the anticipated Taylor Sheridan limited series "Lioness" for Paramount+.
